Seedrs, Investment Associate, London

We are looking for a superstar to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Review campaigns submitted by startups seeking investment through Seedrs;

  • Liaise with entrepreneurs on a daily basis to assist them in finalising their campaigns;

  • Assist with due diligence on startups that successfully raise investment through Seedrs;

  • Prepare documentation for startups that successfully raise investment through Seedrs; and

  • Manage our post-completion relationship with startups that raise investment, providing support, assistance and introductions, monitoring compliance with legal documentation and enforcing investor rights.

You:

  • Have a genuine passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. If you don’t believe that startups will change the world, this job is not for you.

  • Have some experience of working in a professional environment preferred, but recent graduates are welcome.

  • Have strong organisational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and a superb telephone manner are also essential – this role requires strong sales skills without being “salesy”.

  • Have a high attention to detail and the ability to be consistently thorough in your approach to your work.

  • Are fluent in English and have excellent writing skills.

  • Possess a willingness to work flexibly. We are a very fast growing company, and we need to operate with all hands on deck.

Salary:

Seedrs, Portfolio Associate, London

We’re looking for a Portfolio Associate to join our Investment team. In this role you will provide support to the Portfolio Manager; assisting with the management of our portfolio and the running of our Seedrs Alumni club for funded companies. This is a new role at Seedrs so you will really have the opportunity to make this your own.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the day to day management and growth of the Seedrs Alumni Club (companies that have successfully raised investment through Seedrs);

  • Engaging with entrepreneurs, keeping updated on portfolio company performance and ensuring our investors’ rights are being enforced;

  • Managing the tax documentation process for portfolio companies;

  • Liaising with investors and assisting with any queries related to portfolio companies; and

  • Working with our portfolio companies to secure follow-on fund raises.

You:

  • Have a genuine passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. If you don’t believe that startups will change the world, this job is not for you.

  • Have experience of working or interning at a Startup or Accelerator.

  • Have strong organisational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Are a competent user of Excel.

  • Have a strong attention to detail and are consistent in your approach to your work.

  • Are fluent in English and have excellent communication/presentation skills.

  • Have a willingness to work flexibly. We are a very fast growing company, and we need to operate with all hands on deck.
